The Directer in Vampire Survivors is a hidden final boss and players are looking for ways to find and beat it. In this rogue-like game, all you have to do is survive against waves of monsters. As you progress through the game, you will unlock new characters, levels, weapons, abilities, and much more. These will help you fight strong enemies and bosses in this game. In the 1.0 patch, you can unlock a hidden stage to get two new relics and fight the hidden boss. This guide will tell you how to find and beat the Director in Vampire Survivors.
Where to Find and Beat the Directer in Vampire Survivors
First, you must unlock the hidden Eudaimonia M stage. To do so, all you have to do is collect all the Relics in this game. This is a tedious task since there are 11 relics in total spread across different maps. To make it easier, here are the maps and ways you can get them:
- Inlaid Library: Grim Grimoire and Magic Banger
- Dairy Plant: Milky Way Map and Ars Gouda
- Gallow Tower: Sorceress’ Tears
- Moongolow: Golden Egg and Glass Vizard at the merchant
- Holy Forbidden: Yellow Sign
- Get 50 Collectibles: Mindbender
- Bone Zone: Scrolls of Morbane
- Capella Magna: Great Gospel
Once you get all of them, you will unlock the Eudaimonia M stage where the Directer is located. Interact with it and you will get two options. By selecting “Too Easy” you will get Gracia’s Mirror. On the other hand, by selecting “Too Hard”, you will get the Seventh Trumpet. To re-enter the stage, you have to load any stage and quit it. Then, you will be able to select this hidden stage in the Stage Selection Menu. By interacting with the Director for the third time, you will trigger the final boss fight.
Beating the Directer
This final boss fight is more of a spectacle than a challenge. However, if you are not careful, you will certainly meet your demise. Select a character with directed attacks like Leda with her Holy Wand. Make sure you get enough Revives or Tiragisu as your passive item as they are crucial in the later stages of the fight.
In the first phase of the fight, you will be swarmed with weak enemies like the bat. So make sure you get Garlic as your passive item. This will help you to farm EXP Gems. As the fight progresses, make sure are leveling up as much as you can. Then, get abilities that boost your attack power like the Duplicator. However, keep an eye out for Tiragisu.
In the next phase, you will see all the stages below the stained glass background. Here, the enemies will get stronger so having a good attack is a must. Try coupling your firepower with AoE attacks. Along the edges of the screen, you will notice black hands with a yellow tint. They will attack you with projectiles so make sure you dodge them.
A reddish background marks the next phase of the fight. The Directer will have skulls revolving around it and that means you are close to beating him. In this phase, you will be attacked by floating eyeballs. Make sure you avoid the areas marked with the Exclamation Mark, as they will be bombarded with Eye Balls. Moreover, the White Death will attack and kill you and there is nothing you can do about it. This is where your Revives and Tiragisu will come into play. Once you revive, you will be trapped in a narrow corridor-like area with columns of blasts above and below you. Make sure you upgrade your AoE attacks to push back the enemy in this cramped area.
The final phase of the fight will start when Red Deaths will start swarming you. You will not have much area to move so your AoE attacks will be crucial here. Keep hitting the Directer and its masks and you will end the fight.
At the end of the fight, you will get loads of EXP Gems and Gold Coins. Then, there will be celebratory Fireworks and you will get the Greatest Jubilee weapon.
