How to Get Fertilizer in Once Human
Compost Bins are the best way to turn food or spoiled food into fertilizer. All you have to do is build a Compost Bin in your territory and add food scraps to it. You can unlock it under the Logistics tab by spending Ciphers and Energy Links.
To craft a Compost Bin, you need 30 Logs, 10 Metal Scraps and 10 Sintered Bricks.
You can also occasionally find fertilizer in chests within abandoned structures.

Types of Fertilizers
There are 4 types of fertilizers available in Once Human as of now, each with its own unique benefits:
- Fertilizer – Yield Boost: The most common type, it provides a basic boost to crop yield.
- Fertilizer – Growth Boost: Accelerates the growth of your crops.
- Fertilizer – Breeding Boost: Increases the amount of seeds that are dropped when the plant is fully mature.
- Fertilizer – Mutation Boost: Increases the chances of your crops mutating into deviated variants, which can offer unique properties or recipes.

Using Fertilizer
To apply fertilizer to your crops, simply interact with the planted seed and select the desired type from your inventory. Make sure you water the crop using Boiled or Pure water only; Dirty, Polluted or salty Sea water can be harmful for your plants.
