How to Emote and Use Sprays in Marvel Rivals

Published Date :

Marvel Rivals is not just about fast-paced superhero battles—it’s also about having fun while you’re at it! Using emotes and sprays is a fun way to express yourself and interact with other players. If you’re just getting started with the game, here’s how to get and use emotes and sprays in Marvel Rivals.

How to Use Emotes and Sprays in Marvel Rivals

Whether you want to cheer, taunt, or celebrate, emotes are the best way to relieve some of the pressure of a challenging game. The steps to access your sprays are the same—through a custom wheel.

  • Head to the Heroes tab from the main menu.
  • Select the hero for which you want to equip an emote or spray.
  • Go to the Cosmetics tab at the top, next to the Hero Profile.

  • You will see another menu with Emotes and Sprays. Check the unlocked emotes/sprays you already have and click on the Equip button at the bottom right corner of the screen.

  • A wheel will appear where you can decide where to place the emote or spray. You will have to do this for whichever hero you wish to add emotes or sprays for.
  • Now, during a match, press and hold the “T” key on PC (by default) or the left D-pad button on your controller to bring up the emote wheel.

  • Use your joystick or mouse to highlight the emote you want to use, and then release the button to activate it.

Sprays can be placed on walls, floors, or other surfaces in the game and they’re perfect for showing off a rare spray or leaving a cheeky message for opponents. Once you’ve customized the wheel under settings, aim at a surface and use your spray on it.
