Can Your Pals Evolve In Palworld?

Published Date :

For many players, it’s hard to look past the fact that Palworld isn’t just a Pokemon-based survival crafting game. While it might not be inspired entirely by the Pocket Monster franchise (given that you can hand out guns to your Pals), there are some key similarities that you will stumble upon, and among many is the fact these mysterious creatures can be leveled up further increasing their proficiency and skills. Since leveling up Pokemon grants you their evolutionary forms, it begs the question of whether you can evolve your pals further in Palworld.

While the answer might be disappointing for some of us, there are quite a few things that players will need to consider. So if you are wondering whether pals evolve in Palworld, then here is everything you need to know.

Is There Evolution in Palworld?

Simply put, no, there is no evolution mechanic available that lets your Pals evolve in Palworld into another form. Unlike Pokemon, the survival crafting game just lets you level up your pals and increase their skills in the game. You won’t be able to evolve your pals after a certain time or with any specific items.

While the game is still in its early access and further updates can be speculative, it looks like there won’t be any traditional evolution system made available even in the future. That said many players including this Redditor think that Palworld might get an evolution system through community mods. Since the game will get its mod support very soon as mentioned in the official FAQ, it might just be a possible option.

Although, for now, there isn’t any method available for players to evolve their pals into another evolutionary form. The main reason is that you will be able to breed two pals using the Breeding Farm in Palworld.

These fusions might just be the closest thing to evolution we might get. It is worth mentioning that you will unlock the Breeding Farm once you reach level 19 and that there are quite a few fusions that you will come across.

That’s everything covered in this guide. If you find this guide useful, check out our guides on how to heal yourself, how to get pal fluids, and how to stop food from rotting. And for more interesting ones, go through our dedicated Palworld section, right here on Gamer Tweak.
