Where to Find a Diamond in Story Of Seasons: Friends Of Mineral Town?
When your first winter begins, the Mayor will arrive with a special request. He wants you to get a diamond and now it is up to you to complete the tough task of finding it. This quest needs quite a lot of patience and hard work. First, you must go to the Lake Mine and reach level 20. Note that you won’t be able to go here the rest of the year because you have to wait for the lake to freeze. Once it does, you can walk on it and get into the Mine. Here’s the location on the map:
When you are inside, bring out your hammer to crush rocks and use your hoe to dig holes and locate ladders. Keep doing this until you go further down to level 20. Upon successful arrival on level 20, you will open up the opportunity to get the diamond you are looking for.
The difference between the Lake Mine and the Spring Mine is that the Spring version provides you with ores. You can use these ores to upgrade your tools. We have a guide on how to upgrade your tools in Friends of Mineral Town, so be sure to take a look. In the Lake Mine, you will find jewels and some other special items like a Power berry.
This power berry is something that will give you stamina. Speaking of stamina, note that you must come to the Lake Mine prepared, because working there will exhaust you. If you are unsure about how to keep fatigue in check, our guide on how to increase stamina in the game will help you out. You will also find the locations of all power berries there.
So, that’s pretty much how you can get a diamond in Story Of Seasons: Friends Of Mineral Town. Make sure to read about our other helpful guides like how to get Nature Sprites to like you, summoning Harvest Goddess and much more.
