Dandelion is a type of flower that is found mostly on the Great Sky Island in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Unlike Bomb Flowers, a Dandelion can not be used for cooking or fusing. Moreover, it is not something you can use for crafting items as well. Well, the Dandelion is actually a puzzle due to the confusion it creates. So, here’s what you need to do with the Dandelion flower.
How to Solve the Dandelion Puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)
To make use of a Dandelion flower in Tears of the Kingdom, you need to cut it down with a weapon. Grab any sharp weapon and strike it on this flower. You will see that it remains in the air for a moment and then touches the ground. Now, as soon as the Dandelion touches the ground, it will disappear and spawn where you cut it down.
Here’s the catch, as you literally have to catch the Dandelion before it touches the ground. To do so, simply strike it with a weapon and when it is in the air, jump and catch it by pressing the ‘A’ button. Once you catch the Dandelion, you will obtain a Korok Seed in Tears of the Kingdom. Korok Seeds are found all over the map disguised as a flower or rock that you need to identify.
For those who don’t know, Korok Seed is used to upgrade your Inventory capacity. To do so, you need to interact with Hestu and give him the Korok Seeds. And in exchange, he will increase your Storage capacity.
That’s everything you need to know about the Dandelion flower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. To ensure a smoother progression in Zelda TOTK, you must know how to cook. So, make sure to check out our guide on it right here on Gamer Tweak.
