For the Cyberpunk 2077 the Nomad Prologue quest, you will have to talk to the mechanic & sheriff, connect your phone with the telecom tower, get past border security & Arasaka guards, and finally meet Jackie Welles. As mentioned, it all begins while your character V is looking at an image and planning to leave Badlands and other Nomads and head to the Night City in search of fortune.
You will start by interacting with Mike, the mechanic who will be trying to repair V’s car. He will respond by saying that the problem is big and can’t be dealt with currently. Mike will then suggest you find a short-term workaround that can at least get you to the Night City.
As soon as you get ready to drive to the Night City, the sheriff will interrupt asking why haven’t you visited him yet. After the interaction with the local sheriff, you need to head to the telecom tower to connect your antenna and find the location of Jackie Welles.
Leave the garage, head right, and then take a left to reach the telecom tower. Break the entrance gate and use the ladder to climb your way up and find a control box. Now, open the box and connect your satellite phone with the tower to send and receive signals. After the successful connection, V will interact with Willie McCoy who will send you the coordinates of a farm located near the Night City’s border. Before leaving the tower, ensure collecting the loot available near the control box.
The next thing is to get inside the car and head to the coordinates to find your contact, Jackie Welles. While entering the borders of the city, you will have to deal with border security. You can either bribe them or lie to them and enter the city. But that’s not the end. As soon as you enter the city, you will come across Arasaka vehicles filled with guards. They will ask you and Jackie to hand over the contraband.
When Jackie tries to make way past the guards by entering a nearby Biotechnica facility, a chase will initiate. You and Jackie will somehow escape the chase. In the end, you will find yourselves hiding inside a garage where you can either open the package to see what’s inside or leave it unpacked.
This will end the Cyberpunk 2077 the Nomad Prologue quest and you will then be inside the Night City following your dreams of reaching the very top.
