Life Path Guide: Which Life Path Should You Choose In Cyberpunk 2077?

Updated Date :

Cyberpunk 2077 allows you to choose between three life paths. The life or backstory of your character depends on the life path that you should choose. The three life paths available in the game are Nomad, Corporate, and Street Kid. Each life path provides V with a different set up ranging from dialogues to the starting point. If you are wondering which life path should you choose in Cyberpunk 2077, you are in the right place.

Cyberpunk 2077: Which Lifepath You Should Choose?

There are three different life paths to choose from in Cyberpunk 2077. Choosing the correct life path is vital in Cyberpunk 2077. The life path determines where your character will begin its journey. Also, it sets up the options that you will come across when you march forward on your journey. For instance, your relation with Jackie Welles, an ally during various missions, depends on the life path you choose. To know which life path should you choose in Cyberpunk 2077, it is essential to first understand their characteristics and what they offer.

Street Kid

Being a Street Kid, you will have a better understanding of in and out of the city. The character will have an advantage in the night city because of the deep understanding of the dark alleyways. Your journey starts from the El Coyote Cojo and you have great connections in the Heywood dive bar. With this character, Jackie Welles becomes your ally after a botched deal. You will get tasks from Kirk when you meet him in the Heywood dive bar.

As a Street Kid, you will have some great connections with the gangs of the Night City as you have grown there. The knowledge of the working of the gangs and the streets will help you sneak easily anywhere you want.

Nomad

If you are looking for a fresh unique look and want to build your story alone, Nomad is the option for you. The journey of the Nomad life path begins in Badlands. Nomads build their connections gradually on their own. This life path opens up great perspectives as you progress in the game. You will team up with Jackie Welles after your fight in the Badlands.

The most important thing that you need to focus on as a Nomad is to develop strong relations with the gangs within the Night City. As a Nomad, you will be more familiar with the workings of the security wing.

Corporate

You will start your journey within Arasaka Tower, where you will meet other corporate elites. Lizzie’s bar in the Tower will be the place where you will create your connections. Unlike Street Kid and Nomad, you will be much smarter and able to easily see through conversations. Jackie Welles will already be a trusted friend in the Corporate life path.

As a Corporate V, the starting quests will help you climb the corporate leader and make it all the way to the top. You will be knowing some of the most powerful people in the city, but you will not have strong connections with the gangs of the streets. Also, the corporate people will be always aware of your whereabouts.

These are the three life paths available in Cyberpunk 2077, each of which has its own perks and disadvantages. The answer to which lifepath should you choose in Cyberpunk 2077 depends on where and how you want to begin. It also largely depends on the lifestyle, connections, and early quests you want your character to have?

We hope this will help you select the best life path for you in Cyberpunk 2077. However, if you end up making a wrong decision, you can always switch to another lifepath as and when you want. Along with the life paths also make sure to understand different weapons classes before you get on the streets of Night City.
