You can lose the cops in Cyberpunk 2077 and drop police wanted levels with these tricks:

  • Drive away: Get into a car and drive off until the wanted level reduces and the Police stop chasing you.
  • Hide: Head into a store like a weapon shop, restaurant or arcades and enter a door. The cops will stop looking for you and this will immediately make you lose the cops. For some reason, they cannot open doors but most likely this will be patched. Until then, wait a couple of minutes inside a store behind a door and come back out.
  • Escape: Get into an elevator and close the doors before a police officer can hop in.

Use these ways to lose police in Cyberpunk 2077 and continue your life of crime in the open world.

If you decide to do it like GTA and get into a car chase sequence with them, be prepared because it can last long. You have to drive away as fast as you can until the cops lose interest and focus on some other crime happening nearby. You can steal and car and escape if your own car isn’t near. But, if you are in a part of town which is especially crowded and a car isn’t the best option right now, choose the other trick of using doors.

This is how to escape the police and lose Police Wanted levels in Cyberpunk 2077. While you are here, don’t miss out on the best Cyberware, how to stash items when you run out of inventory space and how to unlock closed doors yourself.
