How To Steal Cars In Cyberpunk 2077

Published Date :

Night City is filled with crime happening all around and stealing cars is, of course, something you can do in this game. While we have covered guides on how to unlock more vehicles, how to repair your car without spending any money, this one’s all about stealing. So, how do you steal parked and in-use cars? Also, can you keep stolen cars in your garage? Find out here.

You can steal parked cars as well as cars on the street in Cyberpunk 2077. To hijack a car that’s stopped on the road or currently being driven, approach it and pull out the person inside it. Then, all you have to do is drive off. Note that this brings your Body attribute into the picture to pull the driver out and the required level will depend on how expensive the car is.

How to steal parked cars? Well, while trying to steal a parked car, you need to have Technical Ability attribute level based on how valuable the car is. So if you are trying to steal a cheap car, the level will lower but for expensive beasts, the level gets higher and higher.

Lastly, if you want to be super aggressive, go ahead and shoot the driver from the car’s window.

How to Keep Cars that you Stole?

Can you keep the stolen car in your garage? Unfortunately, the answer is no. When you steal a car in Cyberpunk 2077 and drive away, you will have to get out of it at some point. And soon enough, it will disappear. Did someone else steal it? Most likely, it’s Night City after all. This means that you cannot call for this cool car you stole anywhere on the map because it is not yours. Once abandoned, it’s gone forever. It will get de-spawned.

Stealing a car is a good option if you want to get to a location quickly. Or you could do it because you want to try driving a car you cannot afford in the game yet. No matter what your reason is, it’s a fun thing to do in the game. But beware, if there are cops near you, they will chase you. So try to do it without drawing attention to yourself.
