Is There A Curse TM In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet?

Published Date :

Curses are a very effective move both on the caster & inflicted Pokemon. For those who don’t know, Curse is a Ghost-Type status move that has different effects depending upon the type of Pokemon you have. In Pokemon games, there are TM (Technical Machine) through which a Pokemon learn new moves. However, in Scarlet or Violet, no such TM is found. Does that mean there is no Curse TM in Pokemon Scarlet or Violet? Here’s everything you should know about it.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Curse TM – Is There Any?

There are a total of 171 TM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Sadly, none of them can teach a Curse Move to any Pokemon. How to Teach Curse Move in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Apart from using a TM, a Pokemon can be taught a curse move by another Pokemon as an Egg Move. Wondering how? You can either Breed two Pokemons or use a Mirror Herb held item. For your reference, here is a guide that features the steps to teach Pokemon Egg Move in Scarlet or Violet.

Note – Ensure that you have a Pokemon that can learn Curse by leveling up. Moreover, both Pokemon should be of the same Egg Group.

Also, please keep in mind that while using the Breeding method, the Pokemon who knows the Curse move should be Male. Whereas, the Pokemon you want to teach the Curse should be female.

While using the other method, make sure the Mirror Herb is held by the Pokemon who you want to teach the Curse. Additionally, save an extra empty slot while using the Mirror Herb method.

That covers everything about the Curse TM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Meanwhile, you are here, make sure to check out our other Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Guides on Gamer Tweak.
