Before getting into the fixes, it is important to know there is no official fix for this issue. Since this is a problem on the game’s end, the issue should resolve when they fix it. But you can still try some of these workarounds to get the Creative mode working.

  • Check Server Status: While Creative mode has no separate servers, you can still get information about if the game is working properly. The best place to check server status is at the Epic Games Server status page and Twitter. Checking server status will let you know if the problem is for everyone or just for you.
  • Check your connection: You should have stable internet to play Fortnite Creative. You can check your internet speed by playing some other online game or by doing a speed test.
  • Enable/Disable VPN: If you use a VPN for your browsing or for other uses then try disabling it and playing the game. And if you don’t use a VPN then you can try using one to see if Creative mode starts working.
  • Restart the game: This is the most basic fix that you can try no matter which platform you play the game on. Close the game completely and restart it, once the game is on try playing to see if Creative works.

These are just some of the basic workarounds that you can try to resolve the problem. If the Creative mode still doesn’t start working then you should wait and let the game resolve the issue.
