You should start farming for Red Border to get the Plunder deepsight weapons in Destiny 2. And in order to speed up the farming process here is what you should do.

  • Use the right Pirate Crew Perks:
    • For your first set of upgrades you should pick:
      • Hire Scur-V the Servitor: You can find this upgrade in the Quartermaster section. It summons a Servitor crewmate during Ketchcrash that gives you fast reload speed during combat.
      • Floating Debris: You can find this upgrade in the Swashbuckler section. It improves your chance to get Season of Plunder gear after completing Ketchcrash missions.
    • The next set of perks that you should go for are:
      • Weapon Treasure Map: Navigator section
      • Focused Weapon Spoils: Quartermaster section
  • Farm Ketchcrash on Master Difficulty: The reason Master Difficulty is important here is that it gives you 3 chests instead of 1. Thus more chests improve your chance of getting more Red Border Weapons.

These two methods are the best methods to farm for Red Border. Make sure you do them irrespective of which other tasks you do while playing.
