Fighting for your survival in a forest on a remote island is hard work. The much-awaited sequel to the hit game The Forest lets you uncover the secrets of this mysterious island where you find yourself stranded. Your only hope is scavenging and crafting tools that can help you live another day. But you’re not the island’s only victim, vicious man-eating mutants roam the forest and caves looking for fresh meat. A reliable weapon is your best bet against them and here’s a quick guide on crafting a bow and arrow in Sons of The Forest.
How to make a Bow and Arrow in Sons of The Forest
Crafting a Bow will require the following items
- 2 Sticks
- 1 Duct Tabe
- 1 Rope
Sticks can be found all over the island and we suggest holding as many as you can in your inventory. Rope can be found at the mouth of the river delta that’s on the north of the island. Make your way to the open flat lands of the river delta and walk towards the river stream. You’ll see the rope tucked away on the river bank. There should be a few rolls of duct tape near the crash site at the start of the game. Once you have these items, simply place them on the crafting board of your survival kit and craft the Bow.
You can also craft some arrows to use with your new bow. These are the items you need to make arrows.
- 2 Sticks
- 4 Small Rocks
- 2 Feathers
Small rocks are scattered on the ground in all parts of the island but can be found more easily at the coast. Feathers are obtained by killing birds like seagulls. The best place to find seagulls is on the shores of the island. Once you have these items place them on the crafting board and get a set of stone arrows to match your bow.
