To make Copper Bars, players will first need to get their hands on some of the copper ore available for mining in Palia. You can mine copper ores from greyish-blue nodes with bronze bulges on the sides as explore Kilima Village. Players can find them in abundance at specific locations like the Remembrance Garden, Whispering Banks & the Mayor’s Estate. You will need the Makeshift Pickaxe which can be obtained from Hodari after unlocking Mining as a skill. The next thing to do will be to upgrade your mining skill to level 2 in Palia.

Once you have the Copper Ores and mining level 2, you will have to then get your hands on the Recipe and a Basic Smelter from Hodari. The miner will sell you the recipe for Copper Bars for 50 Gold while charging 100 Gold for a Basic Smelter. You can then craft the smelter at your worktable with the right materials in-game. Once you have it installed, you can interact and use it to make the bars. Five copper ores make a single Copper Bar in Palia. It takes around 3 minutes to craft the material. For players looking for an easy way out, you can buy the bars from the Blacksmith in Kilima Village. Although it costs around 80 Gold and can be deemed an expensive purchase at the start.
