The Confluence is one of the most interesting and pretty areas that form a part of The Dreaming City in Destiny 2. This city is full of several different types of activities, as well as a host of different secrets. You can also get Atlas Skews here. The Confluence has piqued the interest of several players, and in this guide, we will show you how to get to it.
How to Access The Confluence in The Dreaming City in Destiny 2?
To get to the Confluence, all you need to do is enter a Taken Portal. There are quite a few of these portals in the game. Of these, we recommend you take the Spine of Keres portal, as it is the easiest to get into. Entering it will spawn you at the Divalian Mists, from where you will need to hop onto your sparrow. Now, head all the way to your left. Do this right until you reach a large building. This will be the same place where you would usually interact with the queen in past seasons.
However, just before you arrive at this building, make sure to take a left, after which you will immediately need to turn right. Do this before you cross the first bridge. Now, just follow the path that leads you to a portal.
Going through this said portal will see you arriving in a rather unfamiliar location. Just remember to head along the long corridor right until you arrive at a room with a big glowing crystal. This means that you are now in the Confluence. If you walk a little ahead, you will find the main room of the Confluence in Destiny 2.
This main room will have entrances to four separate primary areas. Of these, three entrances with two banners each will take you to the rest of the Taken portals. If you go through these portals, you will also be able to learn the other spots you can access the Confluence from in the Dreaming City in Destiny 2.
Walking around the huge halls in the Confluence, will show you a number of shut doors and statues. You will also find portals that can transport you to the Gardens of Esila and Harbinger’s Seclude. Of these, if you pick the 4th entrance (also known as a gateway), you will be taken to the entrance of the Shattered Throne dungeon. However, you will only be able to go there if you have the Forsaken expansion.
Because of the fact that The Shattered Throne dungeon occurred in Eleusinia in Queen Mara Sov’s throne, the return of Mara Sov to Destiny 2 might hint at the possibility of you having to travel back to the Confluence. You might have to do so either during some part of this season or in the early future. This will be whenever The Witch Queen is out. One thing is for sure, regardless of whenever The Witch Queen releases, you will know how to get to the Confluence!
