How To Complete Photozomb Challenge In OW2

Published Date :

The Photozomb challenge in Overwatch 2’s Halloween Terror event requires you to strike a pose with the bride during her introduction. This will earn you a voice line by Sombra which says “Never Cross The Bride”. This has to be done perfectly and within the time limit and one character will help you complete this challenge easily. Here’s how to do this without getting instantly attacked by Sombra.

How to Complete Photozomb Challenge in Overwatch 2

  • Although the challenge says that you must strike a pose with the bride, there’s no in-game photo mode or camera mode to be used. Instead, you just have to be in the frame/shot when Sombra appears for the first time.
  • Play through the co-op mission called Wrath of the Bride until you reach the Throne room where you will encounter spooky Sombra. You need a key to open the Throne room door after which you will see the introduction of Sombra in black and white just before she flips the first switch.
  • If you are playing as Sojourn, powerslide towards the trapped Lord of the Castle as soon as you enter and cancel it to jump upwards to get to the top where Sombra will spawn. If you are not playing as Sojourn, it will take longer to get there – you can do another run where you are playing as Sojourn just for this challenge.
  • Once you are up, quickly open up the emote wheel, choose one, and then the black and white cutscene should appear. You will now see yourself in the scene as Sombra is introduced! There’s a chance that the challenge can complete even without emoting but there’s no harm in doing it while you are at it.
  • To confirm if this is registered in the game, check for the Challenge Complete: Photozomb notification on the left side of the screen.

That’s everything to know about completing the Photo challenge in the Halloween Terror event in OW2. If you are also trying to complete more challenges, here’s how to do the Lantern Lit task for free Battle Pass XP. To complete these event challenges, it’s best to do them in story mode which is the easiest, but if you are planning to tackle the Legendary mode too, these tips may come in handy.
