This means the only way to get them is by raiding and looting certain areas. The Best Locations for getting Coarse Thread in V Rising are Bandit Camps, Bandit Logging Camp, Bandit Outpost, & Bandit Trapper Camp. If you have noticed, Coarse Thread is found in the same locations as Paper except for Bandit Stronghold.
This is the perfect opportunity to collect Paper & Coarse Thread as both resources are vital. Coarse Thread is in recipes of Items like:
