You won’t be able to see the vent as it will be covered by the gas. In such instances, you do a Perception Check to spot it. The gas coming out of a vent will always reappear. So to get rid of such recurring Poison Gas in Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3), you must block the vent. This can be done by using any item nearby like a stone, a book, or anything else.
In case there are no vents, you can simply set the Poison Gas on fire. Just stay a little far from the gas as setting it ablaze will cause damage to the nearby party members. Or else, you can use also use spells like Gust of Wind to clear out the Poison Gas in BG3.
