While looking at the Harvest Reaper’s requirements, you may have seen Chicken Feed, which seems like it’s a Cooking Kit/Food item, but it’s actually a crop. It’s a limited Mythical plant which is multi harvest and falls under the categories of Sweet, Stalky, Candy, Spooky, and Fruit. You won’t find it in Sam’s seed shop – here’s where to get it.
How to Get Chicken Feed in Grow a Garden
Step 1: Visit the Spooky Seeds Shop

Open the Spooky Seeds Shop from the in-game menu. This is where all Halloween-exclusive or spooky-themed crops are sold, and the Market appears on your map at regular intervals.
Step 2: Find Chicken Feed
Scroll through the shop’s list until you find Chicken Feed. If it’s in stock and if you have enough Candy Corn (event currency), go ahead and purchase it. If not, wait for the market to respawn and collect the currency in the meantime. You can also buy it by spending Robux if you’d like.
Step 3: Plant and Harvest
Once purchased, plant the seed in your garden. Let it grow and harvest it once it’s fully grown. Since it’s multi-harvest, you can collect the produce several times. In terms of value, it’s pretty good, with an average worth of around 77,777 Sheckles and a huge chance of 0.5%.
You can then approach the ritual of the Harvest Reaper, interact with the flame that requests the Chicken Feed and click on Submit. If it needs the crop to have a particular mutation, wait for the various weather types and hope for the best. You may need Halloween-themed mutations such as Spooky, Vamp, Bloodlit, Moonlit, etc. or if you’re lucky, the Reaper might ask for the base version.
