How to Change Your Character’s Appearance in Elden Ring?

  • In order to change the appearance of your character in Elden Ring, you first need to unlock the Roundtable Hold.
  • For that, you need to fight Margit, the Fell Omen.
  • You can check out our guide on how to defeat Margit though you do not need to beat him.
  • Once you have reached Roundtable hold, go in the right direction.
  • As you enter a room, take a right again and you will notice a Clouded mirror.
  • Go closer to the mirror and press the default keybind to use the dressing table.
  • Then, select the Apply cosmetics option to alter your appearance.

Here are the following things you can tweak to change your character’s appearance:

    • Body Type
    • Age
    • Base Template
    • Detailed Appearance

Changing the base template gives you an option to alter your character with over 10 different character presets. These characters’ presets don’t introduce their different backgrounds but are related to their different descendants. Mentioned below are all the base templates in Elden Ring:
