If you know how to build a generator in Craftopia, most of your problems early on in the game might get solved instantly, this new multiplayer open-world game has a ton of recipes to create and craft thing. If you’re wondering about how to build a generator in Craftopia, you’ve come to the right place.

How To Build A Generator In Craftopia

You will often come across the need for batteries in Craftopia and for that, you will require a generator or multiple generators. Luckily, building a generator is pretty simple and with only a few things you can build one.

For starters, you will need to go to your Stone Workbench in the game, once here look under the Power Tools section for the crafting recipes.

Here you should be able to find Generator (Small) in this section, this is the generator that you will need to build. Keep in mind though that the Power Tools section only unlocks after you complete a certain part of the game.

So, unless you have the Power Tools section you won’t be able to build a generator in Craftopia and you will need to continue with the objectives given to you. Once you get to the Renaissance Era you should be able to get the Power Tools section in the game.

Once you have the Power Tools section, the recipe of the Generator will ask you to gather the following things:

Steel Ingot x1

Cogwheel x1

Log x5

As soon as you’re done building the generator, keep it on the ground and then you will need an animal to run it, you can check out our guide on how to catch and tame animals in Craftopia right here.

Once you have weakened a sheep or any other animal in the game, place it inside the generator by right-clicking the animal.
