Looking to speed up your catches? The Blessed Song enchantment in Fisch is one of the best ways to do it. With a 40% boost to fishing progress speed, this enchantment can give you an edge over other players—but getting it isn’t a simple task. In this guide, we’ll explain how to get Blessed Song in Fisch and how to use it effectively.
What is Blessed Song in Fisch?
Blessed Song is a powerful enchantment that gives your fishing rod a +40% fishing progress speed bonus, allowing you to catch fish faster than normal. It works like the Steady enchantment as well as the passive of the Tempest or Challenger’s rod, making the reeling-in process much easier for you.
But here’s the catch: you can’t get Blessed Song from a standard Enchant Relic. You’ll need to complete a special quest, catch a rare fish, and have luck on your side.
Start Captain Ahab’s Quest

Your journey starts in Moosewood, where you’ll find Captain Ahab standing by the docks at coordinates 362, 133, 194. Speak to him, and he’ll give you a unique quest: catch Moby, a legendary white whale.
Catching Moby (The Hard Part)
Moby can only be caught during the Whale Migration event, which has a 20% chance of appearing during rainy weather. To improve your odds, use a Tempest Totem to increase the chance of rain. You can also spam the Sundial/Smokescreen totems, so collect a few beforehand.
Once the event starts, look for a white whale swimming with two blue whales—that’s Moby. He only has a 5% spawn chance, so it might take a few attempts. Moreover, the Moby is a secret fish which has a whopping -95% progress speed decrease, so your current rod needs to have high Resilience to offset it.
Things to Remember:
- Use Squid as bait because Moby prefers it.
- If you fish during the Aurora Borealis, there’s a chance of seeing increased spawn rates.
- You’ll need a rod that can hold at least 200,000 kg to successfully reel it in. Something like the Heaven’s Rod or better is recommended.
- You can do the Captain Ahab quest multiple times to collect more Song of the Deep relics.
- Save them for top-tier or late-game rods where the payoff is worth the quest and risk.
Trade Moby for the Song of the Deep Relic
Once you catch Moby, return to Captain Ahab to complete the quest. He’ll reward you with the Song of the Deep Relic. When you do this the first time, you’ll also receive the exclusive Moby Bobber.
Enchant at the Keeper’s Altar
Take your Song of the Deep relic to the Keeper’s Altar to enchant your rod. If luck is on your side, it will get the Blessed Song enchantment. Note that if you use the Challenger’s rod for this enchant, the passive gets stacked with Blessed song, making the progress speed +60%.
Should You Go for Blessed Song?
If you’re a dedicated player of Fisch and want to make your in-game life much easier, absolutely. The 40% boost is ideal for grinding, and it’s a massive quality-of-life improvement. However, it’s best to use the Song of the Deep relic on a rod that doesn’t already have a valuable enchantment.
Getting the Blessed Song enchantment in Fisch takes time, planning, and luck. But once you unlock it, you’ll be fishing faster than ever—and gain some bragging rights while you’re at it!
