Clear out the Background Programs
- Several background running processes can cause TOF to cause such bugs and issues.
- So, hit the CTRL + Shift + Esc button to launch the Task Manager.
- Then, select the background processes that are taking too much memory (RAM).
- And hit the End task option to clear these programs.
- Launch Tower of Fantasy to check whether the issue persists.
Check for Updates
If your game does not have the latest update, it can cause such errors and issues to occur. So, make sure that your game is updated to its latest version.
Disable the Anti-Virus Programs & Firewall Temporarily
While these programs offer security against malicious applications and data, they can interfere with your running programs. Some of the Anti-virus programs also block the client or launcher. So, disable them temporarily and launch the game to check if it works out.
Verify Game Files Integrity
- Launch the Steam client and select the Library.
- Find and right-click on the Tower of Fantasy.
- Select the Properties option and select the Local Files tile to your left pane.
- Then, hit the Verify Integrity of game files option.
If your game files were corrupted, this method would re-download those files. While this method may take some time, it will hopefully solve the issue.
Reinstall Tower of Fantasy
This classic method works for most cases. If you are still seeing a Black screen, we suggest uninstalling the TOF and installing it again. Launch the game to check if the problem persists.
If none of the resorts work out, head out to the official site and select the Contact Us option (link). You can find this option at the bottom of the screen.
