What is a BG3 True Soul?
The BG3 True Souls are followers of the Absolute who have been infected with an Illithid tadpole that grants them psionic powers similar to the player. However, unlike the player, they serve as commanding members of the Absolute’s army. Players can kill the True Souls and loot their bodies and will almost always get a Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen from them.
