The Wizardry Spells in Wo Long is divided into Five Virtues: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Each Virtue has its own spell tree that you can upgrade to unlock new powers. That being said, here are the best Wizardry Spells to unlock in Each elemental type or Virtue in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Wood Phase Wizardry Spells

The Wood Phase spells use Lightning as their main element.

  • Lightning Weapon: This spell enchants your current melee weapon with Lightning.
  • Focus Zone: This support spell creates an area in which allies inflict more damage on the enemies.
  • Heaven’s Rage: This spell summons lightning strikes to hit locked-on targets or the area in front of you.
  • Barbed Nightmare: This spell summons thorns from the ground that deal damage to the enemies and restore the health of you and your allies.

Fire Phase Wizardry Spells

The Fire Phase spells use Fire itself as their main element and can inflict the Burn status effect on enemies.

  • Burning Flamewave: This spell summons continuous waves of flame that damages enemies in contact with it over time.
  • Overpower Burst: This utility spell substantially increases the damage dealt by any Wizardry Spell or Martial Arts used next.

Earth Phase Wizardry Spells

The Earth Phase Wizardry spells use Stone as their main element.

  • Illusionary Shell: This spell creates an invisible shield around you that absorbs a certain amount of damage.
  • Imposing Slab: This spell summons rock pillars in front of you that explodes when enemies touch them.

Metal Phase Wizardry Spells

  • Venom Snare: This spell releases a poison fog in the front that inflicts damage to enemies in contact over time.
  • Toxin Weapon: This spell enchants your current weapon with Toxin.
  • Elemental Plague: This spell increases the Status Effect damage dealt to the enemies for a certain amount of time.

Water Phase Wizardry Spells

The Water Spells Wizardry Spells use Ice as their main element.

  • Frozen Spear Trap: This spell sets a trap by your feet. Once enemies step on it, they will be impaled by icicles.
  • Aqua Blink: This spell will instantly transport you to the front.
  • Unseeable Form: This spell will turn you invisible for a certain amount of time.
  • Malignant Icefall: This spell will summon a huge icicle that’ll fall on the locked target or at a certain distance in front of you.
