In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1, there has been the addition of Vaults. Vaults are underground Store rooms that are locked behind an authentification lock pad. Unlike other surfaces, you cannot break and harvest the walls of the Vault. Vaults contain 2 to 3 Crates that contain a lot of loot. Open a few of them and you will max Mats, Healing Items, Shield Potions, Best tier Weapons, Ammo, etc. Also outside of most Vaults, there are Dimensional Rifts so you can escape later once you have looted the place.

- Northwest of Logjam Lumberyard
- Near the river northwest of Camp Cuddle
- Southwest of Greasy Grove
- On the southeastern coast of the lake west of Coney Crossroads
- Northeast of The Daily Bugle
- On an island east of Sanctuary
- Along the road south of Condo Canyon
