In FPS games, Performance is Key. Optimizing the game in terms of performance is the first thing we do when we play an FPS game and Call of Duty: Vanguard is no exception. In this guide, I have compiled a list of the Best Settings to Boost FPS in Call Of Duty: Vanguard.
Best Settings to Boost FPS in Call Of Duty: Vanguard (COD: Vanguard)
When we talk about optimizing a game 3 factors come into the picture, they are Windows Settings, GPU Settings, and In-Game Settings. GPU Settings is system specific so I won’t be talking about it, you will have to optimize it as per your system but I will talk about the other two. For Windows Settings there isn’t that much to do. First off, you will have to search for the adv_options file. It is located under PC -> Documents -> Call of Duty Vanguard Public Beta -> playersBeta. Open the File with Notepad or any Text Editor and find the option RendererWorkerCount. The RendererWorkerCount will have a number next to it. For systems that have an Intel CPU, set the number to 4. For those who have an AMD CPU, set it to half of the number of cores in your System. If you have 8 cores then set to 4, 12 cores then 6, and so on. After entering the number save the file. Once that’s done in the Start Menu search for Graphic Settings. You will see an option of Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling, check it to ON. We are done with the Windows Settings and now we will see the In-Game Settings for Call Of Duty: Vanguard.

Things to keep in mind
There are certain settings that I have not mentioned as they are meant to be kept as default, for example, your Display Resolution is supposed to be the same as your Screen Resolution. Also, there are some Custom options that you can change. Even though they are there it is not necessary to use them if not required. In the above steps, I have noted down the Settings that have made a considerable difference in my gaming experience. You can change certain settings to improve your gaming experience and still have a decent boost in your FPS but that is only possible with High-End PCs. Usually, you don’t need flashy Settings as they ruin the gaming experience. Call Of Duty: Vanguard is a gorgeous game even on Low Settings and on the plus side you will have a decent chunk of FPS.
This was all about the Best Settings to Boost FPS in Call Of Duty: Vanguard. Hopefully, this guide has helped in improving your system performance such that the game runs smoothly for you.
