Oliver is great at Hide and Seek but if you know the locations where he hides in Baldur’s Gate 3, you can beat him in his own game. This Tiefling is not that far from the Shadowed Battlefield waypoint and players will get to meet him as they look to complete the quest. While players will either have the option to fight his shadows or play Hide and Seek, we recommend you go for the Hide and Seek option.
How to Find Oliver in Baldur’s Gate 3 Hide & Seek Game
The first time that Oliver hides, players can find him close to the Wagon outside the house in Baldur’s Gate 3. This is the same spot that he hides every time that players will start the Hide and Seek game with him. So simply walk outside the house with your character and you can find Oliver once you reach the wagon in BG3. However, once you find him much to his displeasure, the game won’t end since you will either have to play the game again or fight his family of shadows. While the choice is yours, you can simply play the Hide and Seek game again and look for him.
Sadly, even if you start playing Hide and Seek with Oliver again, his family will still be looking for your party so it’s best if you ungroup the party in Baldur’s Gate 3. However, if you are unlucky and manage to stumble upon them, a fight will be on your hands. Keeping that in mind, head inside the house and look for Oliver towards the left, right or center. While he will pop up once you are in his vicinity, the Tiefling boy won’t be standing still this time so it’s a bit difficult to find him this time. However, look for small magic orbs since these help you find the location of Oliver a bit easily.
Oliver Hide & Seek Game Rewards in BG3
Once players beat Oliver a second time in the Hide and Seek game, they will receive the Ring of Shadows as reward. While it’s not much, the +10 bonus to Stealth checks can be incredibly useful in numerous situations.
