In Elden Ring, if you travelled to the Three Sisters region near the Caria Manor you have already fought Glintstone Dragon Adula. It disappears in that location during the battle but shows up in the Moonlight Altar region of Liurnia of the Lakes. To beat Glintstone Dragon Adula in Elden Ring you must first beat Astel Natural Born of the Void and complete Ranni’s Questline.
How to Defeat Glintstone Dragon Adula in Elden Ring
To beat Glintstone Dragon Adula, remember that it is a typical dragon fight. It can fly, jump, try to stomp you with its feet, tail swipe and normal breath. However, this boss has two notable abilities that cannot be neglected –
- Breath that forms crystal. This will more than likely kill you in one go. To avoid the crystal breath you need to hide behind the rock formation. Make sure that it is a proper rock formation that you hide behind. Crumbling ruins will not help you survive this attack.
- It can fly high and conjure a sword in its mouth. Avoiding the sword is a tricky task. The way around it depends on the direction the attack is coming from. If you are on the higher region and the dragon is coming at you from the downslope then you can just double jump over it.
You might catch some frostbite but you will not face any damage. If the situation is reversed and the dragon is attacking from the upslope then most of the times you just have to roll under the dragon and you will avoid any damage.
Side Note: If you get too close to the ruins area, the dragon will de-spawn. Just move to where you first found it and you will be able to fight it again. Don’t worry this will not affect its health bar. The progress made in damaging it will remain the same. The dragon will not vanish this time and you will be able to kill it.
The reward for killing it will be a dragon heart and Adula’s Moonblade Sorcery.
