Street Fighter 6 features plenty of combat and acrobatic movement options. While some of those movement tricks can be used in an aggressive way, there are a few that can be used to shift momentum to our side. A Backward Recovery is one such movement trick that you can do to use an enemy’s momentum against them in Street Fighter 6 (SF6). The only thing holding you back is the way to perform it. To help you out with it, we will explain to you how to perform a Backward Recovery in detail. Take a look below to get started.

How to Perform a Backward Recovery in SF6

Backward Recovery can be performed once you are hit by an opponent. After getting hit, you need to press 2 attack buttons at the same time when you hit the ground. If your timing is good enough, then your character will do a Backward Recovery in Street Fighter 6 (SF6).

Doing a Backward Recovery will surprise the opponent as you can break their successive combo hits in the middle. This will eventually help you in getting the upper hand in the fight. If you fail to perform a Backward Recovery, then your character can lose a huge chunk of health.

Backward Recovery in other words is also known as Kip-up movement. Wherein, a person stands up from a prone position to a standing position in an acrobatic way. Similarly, in Street Fighter 6, you can use this agile movement trick to fight back suddenly against the opponent.
