Before we dive into managing the jobs that your villagers will have to complete, it is important to note that these workers will be classified into two categories: Unassigned and Assigned. Now, in order to assign workers in Manor Lords, players will simply have to click on the building they have established, and under the ‘General‘ tab, click on the plus icon to add workers.

Keep in mind that, three villagers make up a family and there aren’t any individual workers. As a result, when you assign a worker, the family will also be present to complete that particular job.

Also, you will be able to assign these families up until you have workers available in the ‘Unassigned’ section. Once all the workers in your village have assigned jobs, a radar will pop up, indicating that you no longer have any families left to start working on a particular building.

If you want to check up on workers and review their performance, you can click on workplace and select the ‘People‘ tab. Here, you can find out what each member of the family is currently doing.

Even though players will want to allot all the jobs to these workers, so that they can quickly help you build the village from scratch, we would recommend keeping at least one to two unassigned workers at all times. This is because, irrespective of the title, the workers in this category will be constantly helping you build new structures. Once you create a burgage plot or any other building, these workers will immediately start with the construction work.
