You will have to find a seed, burn it, and then cool it at the highest peak in Asgard to collect the root of the mountain in AC Valhalla to complete the Taking Root quest. To begin your search, open the inventory bag and head to the quest items section. Now, find an item called “Potential at its Peak.” The item reads:
“Cradled in rock, at Asgard’s highest height, a seed sleeps in Ymir’s cold grip. Warm it awake, bring it to water, for the old bone to sprout with new life.”

Once at the highest mountain, climb all the way up to its top to find the seed near a haystack.
