Follow these steps to turn off Quick Chat in Among Us:
- Step 1: First, launch Among Us game.
- Step 2: Click on the Settings icon indicated by a Gear.
- Step 3: Choose the Data tab.
- Step 4: Select the Chat Type to Free or Quick Chat.
If you choose ‘Quick Chat only’ then you will be forced to use the quickwheel for your replies. Free Chat means that you can easily type what you wish to communicate. This will help you in situations where typing is necessary and choosing the pre-determined messages just won’t cut it. Do note that this will work only if you are above the age of 13. Those under the age limit of 13 will have to use the Quick Chat only option. Your age will be asked when you use the game so the Chat option will be affected by it.
