    Aeonian Coal in MHR: Sunbreak

MHR Sunbreak has been a welcome addition to the base pack. With new items, creatures, materials, and resources introduced, players have been trying to grab everything they can as soon as possible. This can prove to be hard to do when the items are not always freely available. Getting Aeonian coal in the game can be a difficult task considering how scarce it is in the game. Harvesting the same can be a task if you don’t know where to go. In this guide, we will show you where to locate and get Aeonian coal in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak (MHR).

How to Get Aeonian Coal in Monster Hunter Rise

You can find Aeonian coal in the ‘Cool Coal Discovery‘ quest within Elgado. When you interact with the NPC Flur the Sailor, they will ask you to find and deliver some coal to the camp. You will learn a little more about coal through this quest. Now, the real quest to get Aeonian coal will begin.

To get Aeonian coal in the game, you will need to go on hunts or expeditions in Scorched Ore within the Lava Caverns. You must go on Master Rank expeditions or hunts to get it or else, you won’t have any luck.

Uses for Aeonian Coal in MHR: Sunbreak

Aeonian coal is used as an account item that gives you Kamura Points in the game. You can then use these points as an alternate currency in MHR to order Dango. Unfortunately, this resource cannot be used for crafting. Its a good thing that it can be gathered passively in the game when you’re on the hunt for other items or monsters as well.
