How To Activate Skyview Towers In Tears Of The Kingdom

In order to traverse around the Hyrule Kingdom freely, you’ll first have to unlock the regions of the map. And for that, you’ll have to activate the Skyview Towers one by one in Tears of the Kingdom. As easy as it may sound, but it isn’t, there are up to 15 Skyview Towers located in the game. And the very first one you’ll come across is in Lookout Landing. If you’re not familiar with the process of activating the towers in Zelda TotK, then we’ve got you covered. How to Activate All Skyview Towers in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK)

To activate Skyview Towers in Tears of the Kingdom, all you have to do is head into the tower, interact with the Terminal and that’s it. As a downside, before that sometimes you’ll be required to solve a puzzle. Or even require finding an NPC who can help you fix the broken towers. For your reference below we have categorized all the towers that need a quest progression or a puzzle solution. Along with those ones, which can be unlocked easily.

List of Easy-to-Unlock Skyview Towers in Zelda TOTK

Here are all the towers that have no requirements to be activated. Such as solving a puzzle, finding an NPC, or completing a quest. All you need to do is find the Tower, head into the door, and interact with the Terminal. As a downside, some of them are pretty hard to reach and will force you to craft hot air balloons or vehicles. There will also be times when players will have to find an entrance to the tower.

List of Skyview Towers Unlocked Via NPC

The Skyview Towers falling in this category in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (TotK) is much of a hassle to activate. That’s because they can only be activated by finding & interacting with an NPC. Once you do, the NPC will fix the broken terminal and allow you to access it.

List of Puzzle Skyview Towers in Zelda TotK

There are also some Skyview towers where you will have to solve a puzzle in order to access the terminal. Sometimes, the door is blocked with thorns or the terminal itself is missing. If the terminal is missing, then interact with the NPC outside the tower and it’ll help you out. Whereas when it is blocked by the Thorns you’ll simply have to burn them using any fire item. But when it’s raining and the fire trick won’t work. And in that situation, you either stop the rain or block the door with a shelter and then try burning the thorns.
