How To Complete A Cat’s Footfall In AC Valhalla
A Cat’s Footfall quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is given by Ivaldi as the third part of the quest, and your only objective is to catch a golden cat statue that keeps appearing and disappearing all throughout the Great Halls of Asgard. All you have to do is chase the golden cat statue and you can finally catch it after you make the leap of faith.
When the quest begins Ivaldi will give you a riddle that you must solve, this riddle supposedly should tell you all about the quest but can be confusing. You can read the entire riddle below:
“Over the gate to the Great Norse Hall,
A golden cat sits patiently,
Gazing upon many tall towers,
She’ll flee when she is found,
But follow without fear.
Look, leap, and descend,
Once she leads you to the end,
She may ghost to the ground,
Land as well, and swiftly steal her sound.”
To start the quest all you have to do is get on top of the Gates of Asgard and chase the cat, it’s not easy but can be done in a single try if you do not rush and fall from a height.
Keep chasing the cat and eventually, the cat will fall down in a heap of leaves, this is your cue to simply jump and perform a leap of faith. As soon as you land down, you will have completed the A Cat’s Footfall quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
