    The smelter in Valheim is an item that you’re going to need to move on from basic stone tools to a more evolutionary usage of items like leather and metal ores. The smelter will open up a ton of possibilities to craft and create new items in Valheim, if you’re wondering about how to get a smelter in Valheim, you’ve come to the right place.

    How To Craft Smelter In Valheim

    To get a smelter in Valheim, you will need to first get your hands on 5 Surtling cores and 20 stones, once you have these items you will need to select your hammer and press F to switch to the Crafting tab. Select the Smelter, and place it beside the workbench and you will be able to smelt items whenever you want in Valheim.

    Once you have the smelter, you will be able to craft iron-based items and weapons for you to use. While it is ready, you won’t be able to use it just like that and you will require additional items to run it and create items out of it.

    How To Use Smelter In Valheim

    To use the smelter in Valheim, you will need to place 2 pieces of coal per Iron or Copper ore that you’re trying to smelt out of it. Once the process is completed you will get Iron bars or Copper bars that you can use to craft other items.

    Smelter marks as one of the most evolutionary items in Valheim that will help you as you progress in the game, you will be able to craft different items together. The right side has to be filled with coal and on the left, you can fill with the kind of metal that you’re looking forward to.
