Microsoft has revealed a glimpse of their latest Xbox Controller which is crafted with Jade. This idea originated as a way of commemorating the release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on the Console. This fusion of Ancient Chinese Art with the gaming controller was made possible by an extraordinarily talented craftsman, Andy Chi. Xbox Jade Controller – A Jade Maker’s Masterpiece!
The major push for creating Xbox Jade Controller comes from the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s Lore. This mineral plays a major role in this game’s progression. The entire process of making this Controller is an eventful journey of its own.
Andy experienced flaws in the design during the initial stages of forging the controller. He recalls his biggest challenge was to keep the buttons from touching, and eventually damaging the surface of Jade. Andy was able to tackle this issue by surrounding a plastic ring around the Controller’s button layout. The desire to give the gamers his best through the Jade work kept him going. Also, Andy said that – “From my mistake I started many, many times.”

The Xbox Jade Controller is gorgeous and delivers the classic gaming experience for the Console. Andy’s confidence and persistence gave him the ultimate prize of satisfaction through his work. Before undertaking this project, Andy said:
“If I can make a very exquisite jade product as a jade worker, and people will preserve it for a long time or permanently, I could think of nothing to be prouder of.”
