How to Enter the Windtrace event?
You are eligible for this event if you are on an Adventure Rank 20 or above and have completed ‘A Timeless Classic‘ quest. To enter the event, you will have to first find Gygax who will then give you access to play the Windtrace Event. Gygax is denoted by a cat symbol on the map and can be found in the north part of Mondstadt city.
How to Play the Windtrace Event
The Windtrace event in Genshin Impact is basically a co-op hide and seek event where you play as Hunters and Rebels. You can choose either of the sides. The Hunters being the on on the seeking side and the Rebels on the hiding side. Per team, there is one hunter who will have a certain time limit to catch all the rebels. Hunter will win if he is able to catch all the Rebels and if not, then the Rebels win. This event is playable with friends or with random players online. However, the rewards are only available when you are in a match with random players.
Your abilities will be replaced by Windward Arts depending on what character you pick.
Rewards for the Hide and Seek event in Genshin Impact
You will get Windtrace coins, Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora as rewards. In addition, players will receive a name card called ‘Celebration: Peekaboo!’. The players can earn these rewards by completing challenges and rewards for wins. so per challenge completion, the players can earn 50000 Windward coins.
