How To Get Food In Windbound

Published Date :

In this survival game, Food will be an important resource (of course) and many players are wondering where to find Food in Windbound. As you keep exploring and performing strenuous activities, you will keep losing Stamina and Food will help you regain it a bit. To increase your Stamina even more you will need a special rock structure and we have covered details in our linked guide. Go ahead and check it out too. But in this article, we will look at How to get food in Windbound easily.

Where to Find Food in Windbound

The sources of Food in Windbound in the early game will be berries, meat and mushrooms. Eating them will increase your stamina and health. Here’s where you can find them:

Mushrooms

Get Rustcap mushrooms (on tree trunks) and Plumpuff mushrooms (on the ground around trees). They are quite easy to find, be sure to check on big tree trunks.

Meat

You can get some meat through fishing and by killing animals. You can find your prey with a knife or spear as per the size of the animal you are trying to kill. Doing this will give you more of a boost than mushrooms. Luckily, animals will respawn and they provide a nice increase of health/stamina. You can also try fishing in the water bodies.

An important thing to note is that Kara will become sick when she eats raw meat, so you have to cook the meat by creating a fire. Hence, you have to plan ahead so that you don’t end up cooking when you are about to die of hunger. If you’re thinking about hoarding items, even that won’t work because the food will get spoiled after some time.

Berries

This common food source can be found anywhere on islands. You can either choose to collect all Berries just as you are planning to leave or you can consume them immediately.

We hope that explains where to find food in Windbound. Make sure to hunt for food whenever needed because otherwise Kara can die of starvation.
