    Destiny 2 Cipher Decoders

Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost brings in new events, loot, and amazing rewards. Haunted Forest is the location where you will explore new objectives and unlock a lot of new items. There is a various locked chest in the region. You cannot unlock them as they have a special requirement. You will need Cipher Decoders in Destiny 2 to access the rewards of the chest. And to save your time and effort I will guide you about finding Cipher Decoders in Haunted Forest.

Where to search for Cipher Decoders in Haunted Forest?

Play regular missions outside Haunted Forest to earn Cipher Decoders in form of rewards. There are different game modes which guarantee Cipher Decoders. The list is below, you can play objectives under these modes. Completing them will also reward you with more rewards other than Cipher Decoder.

    • Gambit
    • Crucible
    • Nightfall

All three are common game modes of Destiny 2. If you are playing this game for long them this is not new. Cipher Decoders are required to unlock the Reward Chest which appears at the end of the mission sin Haunted Forest.

Once you are done with any mission or objective in Haunted Forest you will earn 5 optional chests. Each cache requires Cipher Decoders that appear randomly after completing missions under regular modes. You can also earn them as random drops during the missions.

Every chest that spawns at the end of the Haunted Mission requires 1 single Cipher Decoder to open. If you are wondering what is inside this chest, then be ready to get some Legendary Gears. The caches also hold random rolls of Braytech Werewolf, Horror Story weapons, masks, and exclusive Festival of the Lost Shaders.

After completing Haunted Forest you can unlock five caches. You cannot miss the Braytech Werewolf and Horror Story. These two auto rifles are exclusive to this event, and once it is over there is no chance to get them back. So first gather enough Cipher Decoders so that when you see the chest you can use to unlock them.
