Since the Star Wars timeline is so vast, players often wonder when the events of Jedi Fallen Order take place. If you have had this question in your mind and you are a Star Wars fan, you might want to connect the dots so you can eventually bond with the Galaxies far far away.
The Star Wars universe spans over eleven Star Wars movies, multiple animated shows, multiple live-action shows, books, comic books, and video games. It is natural that one might be lost in such a huge timeline. For young Cal Kestis, this timeline hasn’t exactly been the most memorable one. However, you can have your pick and complete any movies before the events of the game so you are up to date on it.
When Does Jedi Fallen Order Take Place in Star Wars Timeline?
The events of Fallen Order took place in 14 BBY. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s story picks up five years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith – AKA Episode III. After the dreadful events, only a handful of Jedis remain including Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and young Cal Kestis. Cal has repressed his Force abilities and has a job with the Empire at the start as a cleaner of crashed ships and debris.
However, the events of Fallen Order lead Cal to connect back to his force abilities and take up the Lightsaber once again. With the remaining Jedis being hunted down and a few force-sensitive children that might fall into the hands of the empire, Cal has to run lead after lead to make sure that does not happen. The Star Wars timeline is a mess and if you have been confused by it as well, hopefully this clears it out.
If we are to connect the game with the movie series, the next movie would be the start of the original trilogy, Episode IV: A New Hope.
