How To Get A Weaponsmith Villager In Minecraft

Published Date :

Each villager has a different purpose in the popular game of Minecraft. Often, you may not be able to find the ones that you need. This just means that you will have to create them yourself. One such villager that you will have to work on creating is a weaponsmith. In this guide, we will show you how exactly to create and convert a villager into a weaponsmith in Minecraft.

How to Create a Weaponsmith in Minecraft?

How to Create a Weaponsmith

To Create a weaponsmith villager, you will need to follow these steps:

Make a grindstone by using the following:

  • Two sticks
  • One stone slab
  • Two oak planks

Check out this guide on what Minecraft grindstones are to get more recipes to make grindstones.

Now, put them in your inventory and then use the crafting table to create the grindstone in the game. You should now get a grindstone. Now, add the grindstone to your inventory as well.

Now that the hard part is done, all that you need to do is find an unemployed villager. Place the grindstone next to them and he will immediately become a weaponsmith villager.

How to Convert Villager Profession into a Weaponsmith?

Sometimes, you will not have unemployed villagers that you can convert. And so, here is how you can convert a villager into a Minecraft weaponsmith.

If your village has no unemployed villagers then simply convert their jobs to get a weaponsmith. Each villager can have up to 15 different jobs to choose from. Note that those in green are nitwits and they are incapable of learning any skills.

To convert the profession of your villager to a weaponsmith, simply place a grindstone near them (just like with your unemployed ones). Once you are done trading with them, remove the grindstone and put it back in your inventory to have them revert back to their original profession.
