The Weapon XP glitch in CoD MW2 works in Invasion mode where you have to throw a suppression mine inside a tank. This is easier said than done, and there are many factors you need to consider.

First is the difficulty of this method. You first have to get on top of the APC and aim the mine for it to go inside the hatch. The second thing to keep in mind is there will most likely be enemies near the tank. So not only do you have to get the mine in, but also have to survive after it. 1. Go to the Weapons tab and open Multiplayer loadout.
2. Here, edit the loadout you plan on using and use the Suppression Mine as your Field upgrade. Do remember you cannot perform this glitch without it so make sure you add it to your loadout before going ahead with the rest of the steps.
3. Start a match of Invasion mode.
4. Don’t use the Suppression mines until the second half of the match when APC tanks start spawning.
5. Find a tank that is being is in use by some enemy.
6. Throw the suppression mine inside the hatch.
7. Once it is in, run away from the tank and hide in a safe spot.
8. As long as you are alive or until the someone destroys the tank you will gain weapon XP.

Do remember you should try this at your own risk, there is a chance that the game bans players for using this exploit. Many players are even claiming that this bug has been patched.
