    Wuthering Waves (WuWa)

What is Waveplate in Wuthering Waves and How to Replenish it

    Waveplates in Wuthering Waves

While learning the basic mechanics, you will come across various stuff and Waveplates in Wuthering Waves is one of them. Consider it like a daily replenishable currency that you can use for your benefit. Most importantly, you can train your Resonators to be the best version of themselves by using Waveplates. By now, you might have gotten a tiny idea of how useful this resource can be, right? To help you understand everything about Waveplates in WuWa, here’s a comprehensive guide for you.

What are Waveplates in WuWa? Explained

As mentioned above, Waveplates is like a replenishable currency that you can spend to earn some rewards. Think of it like stamina or energy consumable required for participating in quests in most RPGs. Similarly, Waveplates in WuWa can be spent on two primary places – Simulation Training Modules and World Bosses.

For each day, you are given a total of 240 Waveplates and it’s up to you how you want to spend them. Every 6 minutes, you will be regenerating 1 Waveplate so that means you will get 240 Waveplates after 24 hours.

    Best Way to Spend Waveplates

Before we decide what’s the best option between the Simulation Training Module and World Bosses, let’s see how both of them are different.

    Simulation Training Module

For beginners, this option is ideal as it helps to learn combat and get a good grip over the Resonator’s skillset. Accessing this option requires you to spend 40 Waveplates for each run. That said, you can do Simulation Training 6 times per day with 240 Waveplates in hand. In return, you can get rewards like Shell Credits, Resonators and Weapon Exp, Energy Cores, etc.

    World Bosses

For a better challenge, you can hunt for a World Boss by spending 60 Waveplates in Tacet Fields. But it should be noted that not all world bosses will be unlocked by default, some you need to unlock by completing quests. But with the unlocked bosses, you can always have a chance of obtaining high-tier rewards.

Amongst the above two, I think participating in World Bosses is a better choice as it gives bigger rewards. However, you should only go for it if you are above level 15. Because being on a higher level unlocks your potential to receive high-quality rewards and rare Echoes. For beginners, they can use the Simulation Training Module to gain experience for the future.

How to Replenish Waveplates in Wuthering Waves

Instead of waiting for a whole day to get back Waveplates, you can replenish them right away with these two methods:

    Crystal Solvents

Crystal Solvents can be obtained by simply completing story missions and Pioneer Podcast levels. With this resource, you can quickly regain 60 Waveplates. In case you are having a hard time finding a Crystal Solvent, you can use WuWa Redemption Codes to get some for free.

    Astrites

Astrite is one of the premium currencies in Wuthering Waves and they can be used for regenerating Waveplates. In exchange for 60 Astrites, you can get back 60 Waveplates. Since this is too expensive in the beginning phase, I would suggest you save this currency.

Instead, Astrites can be used for something better like pulling new characters from the Convene Banner.

That’s all you need to know about the Waveplates in Wuthering Waves. While waiting for this resource to regenerate is a rather boring task, you can add your friends and enter the co-op mode to have some fun.
