Among Us is one of the most popular games in the world right now with around 3 million concurrent players online at the same time. The game does allow players to chat but only when an emergency meeting is called or when someone is reported dead.
While this is fun and works for some players, typing with the phone keyboard or pc keyboard can soon get boring and this restriction to communication can lead to a lot of sus activities that have seen a lot of innocent players being rejected.
To use voice chat, you will need to download Discord and you can do that by going to Discord’s website or downloading the mobile app for your phone.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, you will need to open it up and then register to create an account if you do not already have one.
After you’re done with creating the account, you will need to create a Server that you can name it and add a profile photo. Select the category as Gaming and then you will get a discord link. Share this link with all the friends that you want to play with.
Now, all you have to do is click on Lobby under Voice Channels and you will immediately enter your lobby in the game. Give the required permission to voice chat with friends and you’re almost done.
As soon as your friends accept the invite and join through the link you will be able to play Among Us with voice chats.
