How to Use the Charmed Compass in Hogwarts Legacy

You can use the Charmed Compass by pressing up on the D-pad of your controller or by pressing the V-key on your keyboard. The charmed compass basically works like a GPS. Using it allows you to track your quests better. As mentioned before, it will show you a golden trail, that you can follow to get to your objectives.

The best part is, not only do you get the trail while playing, but it also shows you a trail on the minimap. But that isn’t its only use. If you press and hold the Up button or V-key it will also tell you about your current objective. Press it again to hide the details. Overall this is a very basic but useful feature in the game.

How to Get the Charmed Compass

You will get the Charmed Compass from Professor Fig after completing the Charmed class main quest. In this quest, you will have to use Accio and compete with Natsai. After the competition, Professor Ronen will tell you that he has a special Assignment in preparation for you. The Charms Class quest will now be complete.

Go and talk to Professor Fig next. After he confronts you about your conversation with Professor Weasley. He will show you the enchantment they included in your Field Guide’s map. You will now get the Charmed Compass from him.
