How To Use The Autocannon In Helldivers 2

Published Date :

If you find yourself in a dire situation, there are a few weapons in Helldivers 2 that can help you and your party out of there. For players who are playing multiplayer with friends, the Autocannon in Helldivers 2 is one of the perfect support weapons for one of you to call down from your Super Destroyer. Be wary of the ammunition backpack or you won’t be able to reload it after one use.

The Autocannon can punch a hole through some of the armored enemies which can be quite useful in tough situations. Using this weapon will require some team effort and coordination since the shots are limited. Additionally, someone will also have to carry the ammunition backpack for you since you cannot carry any support backpack along with it.

Using the Autocannon in Helldivers 2 is all about coordination and stability. Players will have to crouch or prone in order to aim properly. Since it is a massive cannon, aiming in particular will be difficult. Your shots are limited so you will have to be careful while firing. Along with that, you will have to choose the enemies to use the weapon against wisely. The cannon is likely to shake a little after every shot so make sure you take some time before each shot.

Players can fully reload the Autocannon five times before the ammunition backpack is empty and needs restocking. You can call a Supply Drop in order to do so. The limited quantity of shots is why we recommend that players should choose their target before firing. The gun is extremely powerful and you should only use it with tougher enemies.

That’s all we have on the Autocannon in Helldivers 2. If you found this guide useful, do check out our other Helldivers 2 guides right here at Gamer Tweak.
