When you get into MyCareer Menu, you will see a progression tab. When you select the progression tab, it will take you to your stat screen, showing your in-game stats and places to purchase upgrades.
With the help of the left stick, choose the statistic, which you want to upgrade. Using the same stick, now move upwards on the highlighted stat and you will notice that it raises in value. Now, you can use VC to upgrade these stats.
On the right corner of the screen, you will see a limited number of stat-points that you can assign to this particular character in NBA 2k21. While that is the case at the beginning, you will have an option to surpass the limit when your character touches an 85 overall rating. After that, the sky’s the limit.
